Poimenes

Effective February 1st, 2012, Merimano started a new group. This group, called Poimenes – which means “shepherds” in NT Greek – is for men in positions of spiritual leadership or authority.
This group includes Pastors, Priests, Preachers, Bible Teachers, Counselors, Group Leaders, Elders and Deacons. Any man who is in a position of oversight in any way over others in eligible to be part of this group. We recognize that men in such positions have some unique challenges and often cannot speak freely about them to those they work or socialize with. Poimenes is therefore designed to provide a safe place for the sharing of burdens for these servants of God.
An individual joins the group by invitation only. This is for reasons of security and anonymity. Our meetings are held at a private location, and not at any church site. We can be contacted for more details about our group through e-mail at:
